To be honest
In old time, there was a rich man who had many livestock and fields. One day, a young man wrote a letter to the rich man and wanted to borrow an ox from him.
The rich man was just treating guests. He wouldn’t let his guests know that he was illiterate. Upon receiving the letter, he opened the envelope and skimmed through the letter line by line as if he could read. Then he said to the messenger: “Well! I'll be right there.”
故事梗概
古时候有位富人，他有许多牲畜和田地。
一天，有位年轻人给富人写了一封信想问他借头牛。恰逢富人正在招待宾客。富人不愿意让别人知道他不识字，于是拿到信之后，拆开信封，逐字逐句的看了起来。然后就对送信的人说道：“好的！我知道了。我一会就过去！”
