A poor donkey
Long time ago, there were no donkeys in Guizhou province. Someone brought back a donkey from northern area but finally he found there was nothing special about the donkey, so he let it go.
One day, a tiger saw the donkey in the forest. The tiger had never seen a donkey before and thought it would be stronger than him. So he hid himself behind a tree and spied on the donkey.
When the donkey brayed, the tiger was frightened and ran away immediately. However, after seeing the donkey over and over, the tiger felt the donkey was not so special as he thought. So he began to walk around the donkey, trying to touch it. The donkey became angry and kicked the tiger, but the tiger escaped easily. In the end, the tiger jumped on the donkey and ate it.
故事梗概：
很久以前，贵州（黔）这个地方没有驴。有个贵州人到北方去，看见驴子觉得十分新鲜，就用船运了一头驴到贵州，之后却发现驴子除了脾气坏之外，并没有什么用处，就把驴放到山里面去了。
一天，一只老虎看见了驴，以为这个躯体高大的家伙一定很厉害，就躲在树林里偷偷观察着，驴子并没有发现老虎。它像平时一样大吼一声，大虎十分吃惊，以为驴要咬自己了，非常恐惧，赶忙跑远了。然而，经过几天反复观察以后，老虎觉得驴并没有什么特殊本领，而且越来越熟悉驴的叫声了，于是开始走到驴的前面，试着碰了它一下，驴子愤怒地扬起蹄子猛踢老虎，却被老虎轻易地躲开了。这下老虎明白了，原来这驴子也就这么点本事。于是扑了上去，一口咬住了驴子。
