Businesses, especially large companies, have made significant improvements in their own operations to achieve sustainable development. However, a significant part of an organisation's environmental and social impact lies in its value chain. Large companies have tens of thousands, often hundreds of thousands, of suppliers, so sustainability is a major challenge for them, as companies in the value chain need to be assessed, trained and audited for sustainability. The majority of companies in the value chain are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which have been less engaged with sustainability because they lack the knowledge, resources and expectations.

Dental health is much important for the human beings, however, various dental diseases always happen, including periodontal infections, endodontic diseases, maxillofacial trauma, oral squamous cell carcinoma and so on. To conquer these problems, advanced dental materials are inevitable and play great important roles to realize the resoration or reconstruction of dental functions. In this topical collection, the state-of-art review and cutting edge research of materials to treat dental diseases will be introduced. The topics may be related with adhesives and filling materials in dental treatment, materials used for dental restoration, materials for bone regeneration and tissue engineering, antibacterials materials and so on.

There have been many studies published on mental health after disasters. However, it is rare to see reports on effective psychological care/support studies aimed at improving post-disaster mental health. This Special Issue aims to discuss new knowledge or cutting-edge development in the disaster medicine, psychiatry and social epidemiology research field through selected works, which will make a great contribution to the community. We consider that this issue will be the best forum for disseminating excellent research findings as well as sharing innovative ideas in the field.

Cancer continues to pose a significant threat to human life and health, remaining a highly aggressive and deadly disease. It is a leading cause of death worldwide and presents a critical medical challenge for humanity. Despite increased investment in cancer research, the development of new synthetic anticancer agents has not met the expectations of the medical community. Our understanding of cancer's pathogenesis and clinical treatment is still a gap.

Neurotrauma, caused by injuries to the brain, spinal cord, and other components of the nervous system, poses a major challenge to global public health. Its impacts extend beyond individuals, affecting whole communities. To address this, a unified effort, integrating health systems, policies, and public health strategies, is crucial. The advancement of global public health calls for strategies that focus on reducing the incidence and impact of neurotrauma.

Soil nutrient management and pollution are pressing global challenges. This Collection explores the complex interactions between nutrients and contaminants in soil-crop systems. As food security concerns and environmental pollution intensify worldwide, understanding these interactions becomes crucial for developing sustainable agricultural practices and effective soil remediation strategies. We welcome submissions on topics including, but not limited to, nutrient-contaminant competition, rhizosphere dynamics, microbiome influences, and plant-driven processes affecting nutrient availability and contaminant mobility. By showcasing cutting-edge research, we aim to advance understanding of nutrient-contaminant dynamics and their impacts on crop production, food safety, and environmental health.
