房总领事在致辞中表示，中国文化博大精深，异彩纷呈。中国提出“人类命运共同体”和“中国式现代化”理念，为丰富和发展人类文明新形态提供了中国方案。希望参赛选手及领区华裔青少年继续加强对中华传统文化的学习，做中华文化的“传承者”、“播种机”和中澳友好的“小使者”。房总领事还介绍了近日中国面向澳大利亚等国实施的新的签证便利化政策，希望领区各界多到中国走一走、看一看。![]()

Consul General Fang Xinwen attends the final of the 4th Huawen Cup Chinese Language and Culture Competition
On November 24, Consul General Fang Xinwen attended the final of the 4th Huawen Cup Chinese Language and Culture Competition delivered a speech. Ms Chen Shiwei, President of the Council of Chinese Language School Victoria, Mr John Mullahy MP, state member for Glen Waverley, Mr Bwe Thay, Deputy Chairperson of Victorian Multicultural Commission and others attended the event. Deputy Consul General Chen Xiaodong attended the competition and served as a judge.Consul General Fang said that Chinese culture is extensive, profound and colorful. China has proposed the concepts of "a community with a shared future for mankind" and "Chinese modernization", providing a Chinese solution for enriching and developing a new form of human civilization. He hopes that the contestants and Chinese youth in the consular district will continue to strengthen their study of traditional Chinese culture and become "inheritors" and "seeders" of Chinese culture and "little ambassadors" of China-Australia friendship. Consul General Fang also introduced China's new visa facilitation policy recently implemented for Australia and other countries, and hopes that people from all walks of life in the consular district will visit China more often.The Competition was hosted by the Council of Chinese Language School Victoria.Students from various Chinese schools in Victoria participated in quiz competition on Chinese culture, history and other aspects of knowledge.
