海上作业中坠物的运动模拟及危险性评估&3D打印在海洋工程中的应用

Dr. Xiaochuan Yu is a tenured associate professor at Boysie Bollinger School of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, University of New Orleans (UNO). His research interests include 3D printing of maritime structural components and their corrosion studies, offshore renewable energy, AI’s application in naval architecture and offshore engineering, analysis and design of mooring systems, numerical simulations and experimental tests of dropped objects in offshore operations, risk assessment and hazard mitigation in offshore engineering, etc. etc. Dr. Yu earned his PhD degree in Ocean Engineering from Texas A&M University (TAMU) in 2011, MS degree in Civil Engineering from University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM) in 2008, MS & BS degree in Naval Architecture from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in 2004 & 2000. Additionally, he also obtained one more MS degree in Computer Science from UNO in 2023.
Dr. Yi Li is currently the chair of Department of Ocean Engineering, Guangdong Ocean University. He earned his PhD degree in Applied Science and Engineering from University of New Orleans in 2022. His research interests include: dropped objects and floating offshore wind turbines (FOWT).
