95th Anniversary Special Virtual Issue: Celebrating Science
特刊介绍
Journal of Periodontology 于1930年创刊，是American Academy of Periodontology （AAP）官方期刊，出版牙周及种植领域最高质量的研究文章。
在2025年，Journal of Periodontology即将迎来创刊95周年。为庆祝这一里程碑，期刊将在2025年底出版一期以“Celebrating Science”为主题的线上特刊 (Virtual Issue)。我们针对这一特刊广泛征集牙周和种植领域的高质量原创研究论文。所有稿件都将经过期刊标准的同行评议流程。被接受的文章将以Early View形式首先出版，随后收入常规卷期 (Regular Issue)。编辑会挑选来稿中最新颖的文章，并邀请一些观点和评论文章，展示在本次95周年Virtual Issue中。
感兴趣的原创研究主题包括但不限于：
Periodontal disease pathogenesis
Host–microbial interactions in periodontitis/peri-implantitis
Genetic contributions to periodontitis/peri-implantitis
Periodontal and peri-implant therapy including hard and soft tissue regeneration, mucogingival surgery, etc.
Holistic health care: periodontitis/peri-implantitis and systemic diseases
Public health implications of periodontal/peri-implant diseases
Risk factors for periodontal diseases
Evolution of the specialty: workforce, paradigm shifts, technological advancements, digital dentistry, personalized access to care, sustainable and holistic practice modes
