1945年9月生于上海。
1980年中国美术学院油画系研究生毕业(师从王德威教授与全山石教授)，并留校执教于油画系。
1984-1986年由文化部与中国美术学院选派赴法,进入巴黎国家高等美术学院皮埃尔·伽隆教授工作室深造。
1998-2008年调离中国美术学院，执教于上海师范大学美术学院。
2004年后曾先后为中国美术家协会第四届油画艺术委员会委员、中国艺术研究院美术创作院特聘研究员、中央美术院壁画系客座教授、2020 年“提香绘画大赛”国际评委、“从塞维利亚到中国-委拉斯凯兹绘画&雕塑大赛”评委会中国组组长、美国艺术复兴中心“第十四届国际沙龙大奖赛”“第十五届国际沙龙大奖赛”国际评委、联合国科教文组织造型艺术协会会员。
现为:中国油画院特聘画师,中国写实画派成员

He was born in Shanghai in September 1945.
In 1980, he graduated from the Oil Painting Department of China Academy of Art (under the guidance of Professor Wang Dewei and Professor Quan Shanshi) and taught in the oil painting Department.
From 1984 to 1986, he was selected by the Ministry of Culture and the China Academy of Art to go to France for further study in the studio of Professor Pierre Galon at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts in Paris.
From 1998 to 2008, he was transferred from the China Academy of Art and taught at the Academy of Fine Arts of Shanghai Normal University.
After 2004, he was successively a member of the fourth Oil Painting Art Committee of the Chinese Artists Association.
Distinguished Researcher of Fine Arts Creation Academy of Chinese National Academy of Arts, Visiting Professor of Mural Painting Department of Central Academy of Arts, 2020 International judge of "Titian Painting Competition", head of China Group of Jury of "From Seville to China - Velazquez Painting & Sculpture Competition", international judge of "14th International Salon Grand Prix" and "15th International Salon Grand Prix" of American Art Renaissance Center, member of United Nations Scientific and Educational Organization Plastic Arts Association.
Present: Chinese Academy of Oil Painting special painter, member of Chinese realistic painting school
Professor and doctoral supervisor of the first Studio of Oil Painting Department of Painting School of China Academy of Art.

全山石艺术中心
全山石艺术中坐落在杭州钱塘江畔之江度假区，占地面积15000平方米,建筑面积5500平方米,展览和陈列面积3000平方米。有固定陈列l厅、流动展览厅、中央大厅、学术报告厅、油画工作室、油画材料实验室、库房、图书文献资料室、办公室及其它公共服务设施。
