The RVU Manager is a key position with responsibility to manage, mentor and coordinate a team of skilled, professional officers, and engage and cooperate with internal and external stakeholders, in order to deliver quality results for the Australian Embassy Beijing. The Australian Embassy’s Research and Visits Unit (RVU) plays an important role supporting the Ambassador, Deputy Head of Mission and political, trade and economics teams. This includes supporting them: to effectively deliver Australian Government messages across the Chinese system; to appropriately implement bilateral cooperation with China; and to deliver timely, informed and considered advice on China’s economy, domestic politics, and foreign and strategic policy.
