The scope of this VSI includes, but is not limited to:
Advanced separation and recovery technologies (e.g., adsorption, solvent advanced membrane technologies, precipitation, extraction, biorefinery)
Advanced strategies and tools for evaluating the technological feasibility for enhanced bio-resource recovery (e.g., techno-economic assessment (TEA), lifecycle assessment (LCA))
Closed-loop studies (e.g., reuse and valorization pathways, application of recovered products in new processes)
