A: Hey, did you make any plans for the National Day holiday this year?
A: 嘿，今年国庆节你有什么计划吗？
B: Yeah, I’m thinking about taking a trip to the countryside. I want to escape the crowded cities during the Golden Week. What about you?
B: 是的，我在考虑去乡下旅行。我想在黄金周避开拥挤的城市。你呢？
A: That sounds peaceful! I’m staying in the city, though. I might go to Tiananmen Square to see the flag-raising ceremony. It’s a tradition in my family.

B: Wow, I’ve never seen it in person. I bet it’s a powerful moment.

A: It really is. The atmosphere is so patriotic. People from all over China come to celebrate.

B: Do you think the roads will be crowded? Travel during this holiday can be chaotic.

A: Definitely. That’s why I’m staying put! Public transport will be packed too. You should prepare if you're driving to the countryside.

B: Good point. I’ll leave early to avoid traffic. I’m looking forward to a peaceful break, though.

C: Happy National Day! Are you excited for the week off?

D: Happy National Day! I am! I’ve been looking forward to this break for months.

D: That sounds amazing! Just brace yourself for the crowds.
