More people in China are choosing to bring their beloved pets on vacations. But you've probably heard everything from how trains and planes are off-limits to animals to how there are no pet-friendly hotels. We'll admit, taking your pet on holiday is extra work, but it's not impossible. Here are some useful tips on how to travel with your furry friends.

Let's start with the easiest way to bring your pet on vacation and that's by car. But if you can't drive in China, here are some other ways.
By Plane
Many airlines in China allow pets to be transported as checked baggage under certain conditions. For example, airlines like Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, and others have specific regulations and requirements for pet consignment. Passengers need to prepare relevant documents such as the pet's vaccination certificate and the Animal Quarantine Certificate in advance. Additionally, different airlines have restrictions on the types of pets (usually only domesticated dogs and cats are accepted), and temperature conditions during transportation. For example, some airlines do not accept pets when the temperature at any point during the journey is below -12°C or above 30°C, and the specifications of the pet carrier.
