Things I Look For in a Student
Intellectual curiosity.
Solid foundations in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Reinforcement Learning, or demonstrated ability to acquire them.
Strong programming skills with hands-on experience or willingness to develop them in Deep Reinforcement Learning.
Good communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Relevant research contributions or demonstrated potential.
Commitment to fostering a happy, supportive, and inclusive environment within the research group.
Currently, I am primarily seeking applicants for the PhD program, both at the post-bachelor's and post-master's levels.

I will review your application and if there is a good fit, I will contact you for an interview. Due to the high volume of applications I receive, I am able to respond to only those who are selected for an interview. I appreciate your understanding in this regard.
If there is a good match, I will request you to submit your application for the Graduate Program at the Faculty of Computer Science (FCS) at Dalhousie University. Your reference letter writers will submit their recommendation letters as a part of this application.
FCS and I will perform a final review of your submitted application and make a recommendation to the Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS), who will then make the final decision/offer.
