Please note that many of our most senior executives still choose to study our two-year Global MBA. For example, they may prefer to study over a longer timeframe for personal or professional reasons, or they may not be able to accommodate the mandatory travel that is part of the Global Executive MBA in their work schedule. On our Global MBA programme, the average age is approximately 36 with an average of 12 years of professional experience, which is comparable to many Executive MBAs offered by other schools.
Entry Requirements
Global MBA

At least 3 years of professional experience with strong career progression and a recognised degree, or 8 to 10 years of managerial experience instead of a recognised degree;

Excellent team working, communication, professional and interpersonal skills;

Successful completion of the Manchester Admissions Test (online).
Global Finance Accelerated MBA

Above 3 with a professional accountancy qualification, such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA.
Global Executive MBA
1
Good undergraduate or master degree or international equivalent;

At least 15 years of professional experience with 8-10 years experience in management roles;
3
Successful completion of the Manchester Admissions Test (online); Excellent communications skills and English competence ;
4
Significant international exposure (preferred).

How about scholarships?
Candidates who have selected Scholarships for Global MBA: Applicants will automatically be considered for scholarships when they submit a full application before 31 March 2025 with an additional personal statement for the scholarship application. Candidates must attend an admission interview conducted by the Centre Director to be approved for the scholarship.
Scholarships for Global EMBA: We offer a number of scholarships for candidates with excellent achievements. Our scholarships also support cultural and professional diversity in the Global Executive MBA programme and the School’s commitment to social responsibility. Candidates who are selected to the interview stage will be invited to present their case for a scholarship as part of the interview process.
We expect our scholarship award holders to contribute dynamically to all aspects of the programme and become excellent ambassadors to the School and our alumni community.
