The 2nd International Conference on Carbon Neutrality (ICCN-2025, https://iccn.sjtu.edu.cn/) will take place in Shanghai, China, from September 5-7, 2025 (tentative). Hosted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and co-organized by the University of Edinburgh along with several other world-class universities, this biennial event builds on the success of the inaugural conference in 2023, which attracted over 200 attendees from around the world.
第二届碳中和国际学术会议（ICCN-2025, https://iccn.sjtu.edu.cn/）将于2025年9月5-7日(暂定)在上海举办。本次大会由上海交通大学联合爱丁堡大学等世界一流高校共同举办。碳中和国际学术会议每两年举办一次，第一届碳中和国际学术会议于2023年在上海成功举办，大会收到了来自中国、英国、美国、新加坡、日本等十余个国家的160余份投稿，来自世界各地从事低碳相关领域研究的200余位专家学者参加了会议。
Achieving carbon neutrality requires a profound and systematic transformation across technology, economy and society, reshaping traditional modes of production, living and consumption. As a multi-disciplinary and comprehensive research area, carbon neutrality intersects with critical fields such as energy, environment, finance, and management.
实现碳中和是一场涉及科学技术、经济和社会的系统性变革，将从根本上转变传统的生产、生活和消费模式。碳中和涉及能源、环境、金融、管理等多学科，属于典型的交叉型与综合型研究领域。以实现碳中和为核心，会议主题涵盖低碳能源、生态系统碳汇与环境治理、碳金融、碳管理与碳政策等方向。
The primary goal of ICCN-2025 is to unite leading scientists, engineers, industry experts, and practitioners to exchange insights, share breakthroughs, and foster collaborations that will accelerate the global progress toward carbon neutrality.
会议旨在汇集来自不同研究领域的顶尖科学家、工程师和行业专家，一起讨论如何应对全球变暖，并为实现净零碳排放寻找可行性解决方案。

ICCN-2025 invites submissions of two-page extended abstracts on the following themes, including but not limited to:
