We need to reflect on ourselves and ask whether we love our children like emperors but treat our parents like beggars. Are we truly implementing the principles of "whether it is dining, seating, or walking, putting elders first and the young ones last"? Do we have this awareness within ourselves? This is crucial.
Every time I buy something at home, I always tell my son that it is for his grandparents, never for ourselves. It’s interesting to see that after giving the items to his grandparents, my son voluntarily brings something for us too, saying, “Mom doesn’t have it, Dad doesn’t have it.”
Every little action we take in our daily lives can influence our children. We must seek to inspire others rather than simply educate them. Educating others can be troublesome and painful, while inspiration comes from our own words and actions, allowing others to truly realize from within that they need to make positive changes.
