Chinese Ambassador to Australia Xiao Qian Attended the China-Australia High-quality Development and Economic Cooperation Forum in Celebration of the 10th Anniversary of President Xi Jinping's State Visit to Australia and the Establishment of China-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership
On November 15, Chinese Ambassador to Australia Xiao Qian attended the China-Australia High-quality Development and Economic Cooperation Forum in Celebration of the 10th Anniversary of President Xi Jinping's State Visit to Australia and the Establishment of China-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in Sydney. Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao and Australian Trade Minister Farrell delivered video speeches.
Ambassador Xiao Qian emphasized in his speech that over the past ten years, the China-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership has been of decisive significance to the stable development of the relationship between the two countries. After the entry into force of the China-Australia FTA, the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries has been developing rapidly, bringing real benefits to the people of the two sides. The China-Australia business community should seize the opportunity to further explore the potential of cooperation and make positive contributions to the forward development of the relationship between Australia and China.
Co-organized by the Australia China Business Council and the China Chamber of Commerce in Australia, the forum was attended by about 220 representatives of the Chinese and Australian business communities. The atmosphere of the forum was warm and friendly, and the business representatives had in-depth exchanges focusing on the cooperation between the two countries in traditional and emerging areas.
