2024年11月23日,华中农业大学章元明团队在Plant Communications在线发表题为“The integration of quantile regression with 3VmrMLM identifies more QTNs and QTNs-by-environment interactions using SNP and haplotype-based markers”的研究论文。该研究将分位数回归和3VmrMLM整合提出的q3VmrMLM方法显著提高了QTNs及其环境互作的检测功效,q3VmrMLM-Hap也增加了复等位基因和稀有变异的检测功效;与分位数回归关联分析方法相比,首次实现了多基因背景控制;与3VmrMLM相比,将全基因组扫描的Wald检验改为秩得分统计量。

在1439个杂种F1数据的重新分析中,q3VmrMLM(179)检测的异质QTNs数显著多于3VmrMLM(123)、SKAT (27)和iQRAT(29)方法(图2,显示一个关联分析图);q3VmrMLM-Hap(121)检测的低频QTNs比q3VmrMLM(51)、3VmrMLM(43)、SKAT(11)和iQRAT(12)方法更多;两种新方法共检测到261个前人已报道基因,其中175个已知基因被现有方法检测到,说明新方法与3VmrMLM方法具有互补性。
