On December 13, 2024, Anni Huang, the founder of the World Madam Global Brand, attended the United Nations Correspondents Association (UNCA) Annual Ceremony together with the World Madam delegation, in which World Madam Foundation served as a supporting unit. Amina Mohammed, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, some ambassadors and media people had cordial exchanges and photos with the World Madam representatives at the venue and expressed their concern for World Madam. After the event, the World Madam Foundation also received a joint signed congratulatory letter from Valeria Robecco, President of the UNCA, and Giampaolo Pioli, Chairman of the Ceremony.
The UNCA established in 1948, is a professional organization comprising over 280 journalists worldwide. The association represents numerous publishers, news agencies, and broadcasting organizations globally. In 1955, UNCA signed an agreement with the United Nations and was recognized by it.
The UNCA Gala is a top event in the global press community, which aims to honor outstanding journalists and media organizations in international news reporting and promote global information exchange. Since the 1990s, UNCA has held the annual gala to honor outstanding journalism and individuals that have made significant contributions to humanitarian issues. The gala is known as the "Oscar" of the United Nations for its great influence in the press and humanitarian fields.
