Hi, I'm Larry, 11, studying Grade 6 at Shao Hua School. Passionate about English and Science, these subjects ignite my curiosity. Fluent in English, I expand vocabulary through club activities. Active by nature, I excel in tennis, partake in regular practice, and relish adventure and fantasy literature. Believing in lifelong learning, I eagerly anticipate life's opportunities.
Learning has always been an exciting journey for me. Each day brings something new to discover, whether it’s understanding a tricky math problem or reading an inspiring story. One of my most memorable experiences was when I worked on improving my handwriting. At first, I found it very challenging. My letters were uneven, and it felt impossible to write neatly. However, my teacher encouraged me to practice a little every day. I used special lined paper, followed examples, and gradually saw improvement.
Through this experience, I learned that persistence is key to success. It also taught me patience because progress doesn’t happen overnight. Now, when I look at my handwriting, I feel proud of how far I’ve come.
Another important lesson I’ve learned is to never be afraid of asking questions. Sometimes, I don’t understand everything right away, but asking for help from my teacher or classmates has made learning much easier.
In the end, I’ve realized that learning is not just about getting the right answers—it’s about growing, improving, and becoming more confident in my abilities. This reflection motivates me to keep trying, no matter how difficult something seems at first.
