Hello everyone, my name is Wang Yuke, and I'm from Class 11, Grade 6 at Shaohua Street School. I'm a quiet and introverted girl who enjoys reading or painting in my spare time. Although I'm not very good at expressing myself in front of others, I truly enjoy the joy of learning, especially the subject of English. Whenever English is mentioned, my eyes light up with a unique spark.
Learning English, for me, is not just about studying a subject; it's a spiritual journey and an exploration of the unknown world. Throughout this process, I've gained a lot and had profound insights.
Firstly, I've found that interest is the greatest motivation for learning English. Therefore, I try to combine English learning with my hobbies, such as watching English movies, listening to English songs, and reading English novels. These activities not only improve my English skills but also make the learning process more enjoyable.
Secondly, I believe that accumulation is an indispensable part of English learning. Vocabulary is the foundation of English, and only by accumulating enough words can we express our ideas more fluently. So, I stick to memorizing words every day and try to use them in sentences and articles.
During my learning, I also found out that it's really important to dare to speak English aloud. At first, I was scared of making mistakes and didn't dare to open my mouth. But as time went by, I slowly realized that only by speaking more and practicing a lot can I really get better at speaking English.
Also, I learned to use my free time to study English. Before going to bed, I would use my phone or headphones to listen to English songs, audiobooks, or news. These little bits of time that might seem not important added up and helped me make big progress in learning English.
Lastly, I want to say that learning English is a long process and it needs hard work and keeping at it. Along the way, we might meet with setbacks and troubles, but if we stay positive and keep trying our best, we can surely make progress.
