Admin and IT Support Officer
Location: Shanghai
About the Role
This role is a “dual function” position is primarily responsible for providing technical and administration support to Tourism Australia’s China region team. The position is also required for monitoring the health and steadiness of technology services, including taking directives from the Sydney team.
This is an entry level role with 1 – 2 years of experience in the field.

You will be responsible
for delivering on the following:
Information Technology Related Accountabilities:
· Preliminary troubleshooting issues / requests logged via the Service desk system (monday.com)
· Providing quality and friendly support to our Tourism Australia staff and STOs.
· Daily system monitoring, identification, assessment, resolution and or escalation of issues – all through the appropriate procedures and systems employed by TA.
· Receiving service calls, ensuring their appropriate registration / categorization / assignment, resolution, and escalation procedures (making sure that controls over the service calls are applied in such a way that “customer service” is the focal point)
· Maintaining accurate and timely hardware and software inventory
· Installation and configuration of hardware and software
· Constantly developing the technical and corporate knowledge base
· Recording and monitoring of service requests, incidents and changes and communicating progress and status to technical and business staff.
· Maintaining and timely updating company contact and assets list.
Administration Related Accountabilities:
· Overall office administration, including but not limited to stationery and office facility management, commodity and decoration management, etc.
· Support the preparation of IT and Administration purchase order.
· Responsible for the submission and consolidation of office admin & IT related invoice header.
· Coordinate and support the organization of employee Team Building / Town Hall / events.
Assist event manager in a wide variety of projects and other related duties as assigned.

· Knowledge in Windows 10,11, Microsoft Office 365, Zoom, OneDrive for Business
· Interest in the latest IT Technologies
· English language ability – business working level (spoken, written)
· Bachelor Degree from a recognised university
· Manage ad hoc requests and temporary peak load of IT service calls, including dealing with changing priorities and setting priorities.
· You will also have the ability to analyse and problem-solve to support end-users in a timely manner.
· Ability to multi task and work on multiple projects/tasks at the same time.
· Relevant experience as Administrative Assistant or Event Assistant
Desired, but not essential experience in
· Office 365 Administration
· Microsoft Teams
· SharePoint Online
