目标和范围:

城市化的进程往往伴随着城市面积的增加。以遥感数据为代表的地球大数据以其不间断、客观、全方位的观测优势,在城市土地利用动态变化监测中发挥了重要作用。深入挖掘和分析城市空间大数据,对于了解城市土地动态,为城市规划和治理决策提供建议具有重要意义。本专刊旨在汇聚城市土地动态监测最新的研究理论、技术与方法,讨论城市土地动态研究的最新进展、应用与挑战,分享前沿研究成果。

Aim & Scope:

The process of urbanization is accompanied by the expansion of urban area. Big Earth data, such as remote sensing data, has played an important role in monitoring the dynamic changes of urban land use due to its advantages of uninterrupted, objective, and all-round observation. In-depth mining and analysis of urban spatial big data is of great significance for understanding urban land dynamics, and making suggestions for urban planning and governance decisions. This special session aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders to share their experiences and discuss the latest advancements, applications, and challenges in urban land dynamics.

Possible topics:

1. Advanced classification techniques of urban land use and land cover.
2. Spatio-temporal dynamics of urban growth.

3. Urban land cover and land use change detection.

4. Time-series urban land cover change detection.

5. Big Earth data system for urban land dynamics monitoring.
