Call for Papers: The 2nd Youth Innovation Forum on Digital Earth and Special Issue of the Urban Informatics
Dear scholars and researchers, we are pleased to invite you to participate in The 2nd Youth Innovation Forum on Digital Earth, which will be held from December 4 to 7, 2024, in Hong Kong, China (https://www.isde-ysin.org/2024/#/). As a supporting organization of this forum, we are organizing a session with the topic of Geospatial Big Data and Remote Sensing for Urban Informatics, and we warmly welcome submissions of abstracts and full papers.
Call for Abstracts/Full Papers
This session and special issue aim to explore the applications and innovations of geospatial big data and remote sensing technology in urban informatics. We welcome original research and application cases in the following (but not limited to) areas:
·Techniques for high-resolution urban mapping and change detection
·Remote sensing for urban disaster risk assessment and mitigation
·Geospatial AI techniques for urban data analysis
·Urban planning and management using geospatial big data
·Spatiotemporal data fusion for urban sensing
·Applications of geospatial big data in smart cities
·Solutions in the integration of remote sensing data with urban informatics
Submission
Please submit your abstracts or full papers through the link (https://www.isde-ysin.org/2024/#/) according to the deadline set by the forum. Full papers should be prepared according to the format requirements of the Urban Informatics journal. All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process. Accepted papers will be recommended for publication in the Special Issue: Geospatial Big Data and Remote Sensing for Urban Informatics of the Urban Informatics journal. Excellent Paper Awards
Submitted full papers will be eligible for the forum’s Excellent Paper Award. Papers published in Urban Informatics will also be eligible for the Best Paper Awards by the International Society for Urban Informatics (ISUI), with corresponding certificates and awards.
