A Disputation Following "Poetry, Moving Images Come After"
在诗歌行吟中窥见图像流动,是一种古早的思想镜像方式;反之,在动态影像中感知诗学存在,则是影像艺术(Moving Images)进化至今所必然抵达的历史阶段——是从赛珞璐污点技术到录像带脱磁法、再到马赛克点阵的媒介进化,也是从胶片炼金术到古典录像主义、再到数字生成法则的方法论进化。而时至今日,突如其来的人工智能元年(2021、2019、2016的某个年代选项)在瞬间降临,将我们推至又一个影像突变时刻,基于这样的时刻——在影像诗学中可以被描绘为午夜和黎明交界的某个历史瞬间,我们似乎有必要完成一次诗意泛滥之后的聚集,将各自关于动态影像的动态(Trends)汇集、交错、聚能,以探讨关于影像诗学的某种重启、再现、复刻的可能性。由此,此次聚讼为半开放的,泛主题的圆桌会议,主要内容是交流与动态影像研究相关的学术动态,在动态的变量中感知媒体突变的振幅。
In the act of chanting poetry, one glimpses the flow of images, which is a form of ancient thought-mirroring. Conversely, perceiving the presence of poetics in moving images represents an inevitable historical stage in the evolution of the art of moving images. This journey spans the progression from early technical flaws like the Searle-lu stains, to videotape demagnetization methods, and further to the advent of pixelated mosaics. It also traces the methodological evolution from film alchemy to classical videoism, and then to the digital generation paradigm. Today, however, the sudden arrival of the era of artificial intelligence (whether in 2021, 2019, or 2016) has thrust us into another moment of image transformation. In this moment — which in the poetics of images might be seen as a historical instant at the junction of midnight and dawn — it seems necessary for us to complete a gathering after a flood of poetic excess, collecting and intertwining various trends in moving images. This would allow us to explore the possibilities of a reboot, recreation, or replication of moving image poetics. Thus, this discussion takes the form of a semi-open, broad-themed roundtable conference. Its main focus is on exchanging academic developments related to dynamic image studies, aiming to perceive the amplitude of medium mutations amidst dynamic variables.

Lecture Introduction:
"Body · Cosmos: The Art of Living Together" centers on the speaker's recent involvement in curating the"Collective Trilogy" series of exhibitions, exploring how contemporary curatorial practices respond to pressing social concerns. More specifically, it examines how an understanding of societal issues and active engagement with them can continually reshape and advance thematic directions in artistic practice, as well as the possibilities for dynamic knowledge production within this context. The"Collective Trilogy" comprises three key projects: "Rethinking Collectivity" from the Guangzhou Image Triennial 2021 (Guangdong Museum of Art, 2021), "Body · Cosmos: The Art of Living Together" (Xie Zilong Photography Museum, 2022), and"Unfinished," a thematic exhibition of the Chengdu International Photography Week (Chengdu Museum of Art, 2023).
