To welcome the Year of the Dragon, Cambridge Chinese Community Centre, a registered charity, will have two big celebrations in Cambridge.
Event One: 2024 'Festival of Spring' Cambridge Tour

'Festival of Spring' troupe is composed of over 30 professional artists from China. Their breathtaking show in Cambridge in 2018 was throughly enjoyed by 500 audience in Guidlhall.
The spectacular show will return to Cambridge with the same high quality and passion. The performances are all from top performing ensembles, including solo singing of different styles, ethnic instrumental musical pieces and various dazzling acrobatics as well as incredible magic shows.

Event Two: 2024 Cambridge Chinese Spring Festival Celebration

The Chinese New Year is also known as the Spring Festival. It is the most solemn festival of the year for every Chineseand has been celebrated in China for thousands of years.
Our community centre has celebrated the festival for over last 20 years in Cambridge. Every year many volunteers contribute a lot of their time to organise the event and work hard to create an unforgettable Spring Festival gala.
The celebrations always received strong and enthusiastic supportfrom many Cambridge communities. The event has attracted participations of thousands audience and well covered by both English and Chinese medias.

This year we are particularly honoured to invite two Huangmei Opera (one of four oldest operas in China) masters from Huaining, Anhui, the hometown of Huangmei Opera, to participate in our Spring Festival Gala.
