About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Brand Partnerships and Sync for Asia, and collaborating with divisional leads and local markets, this internship focuses on all Brand and Sync for Warner Music Asia. This is designed to give students a comprehensive experience on what it means to be part of Brand Partnership and music licensing side of the music industry and learning about:
The strategies behind revenue maximisation beyond streaming for artists
The commercialization, partnership and licensing of music and talent
The creative and strategic approach to identifying partners and brands
Collaboration with internal stakeholders like Affiliate markets, Marketing, A&R and more, to Understand how it comes together to support artists and their music
Relationship management, networking and pitch negotiation skills
Multi-tasking and ensure the best in class delivery
Presentation and Project management skills
Utilising data and tools to story tell and formulate pitch decks for persuasion of artists and brands
What You'll Do
Create playlists and organise our music catalogue to maximise music licensing opportunities for our music and artists
Support in creating easy to clear music playlists to facilitate an easy to clear sync process
Sharing key data points and insights on artists, brands and trends to inform pitch strategies
Create case studies for new and existing partnership deals to inspire and engage partners new and old
Support in creating compelling pitch presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Support the team with on-going live events, projects and pitches
What You'll Need
High level of attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work, and a keen sense of delivering completed projects in a timely manner.
Eager to learn, passionate about music and happy to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in
Good presentation skills and use of powerpoint, Canva or other tools
Have fun, feel able to speak up and to introduce us to new ideas and share ideas on how Gen Z find, curate, and consume music
Fluency in English
Bonus if you can speak Mandarin/Cantonese and have a good knowledge of Mando/canto music
This is a 3 month internship, for at least 3 days with total of 20 hours per week
Office hours are Monday to Friday 9:30am – 6:30pm
