As part of a broader Customer Success function, our programs are designed to enhance proficiency in LSEG's products and solutions, while also offering educational opportunities in market and industry topics. All learning is hosted through the LSEG Learning Centre and our flagship products, LSEG Workspace and LSEG World-Check One.
The Digital Localisation Manager is responsible for ensuring that our learning content, website, and promotional materials are effectively adapted for our Chinese speaking customers. This role oversees the localisation process from start to finish, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and brand consistency across all localised assets. You will work cross-functionally with members of our learning team, technology, product organisation and marketing teams to deliver seamless, high-quality localised experiences.
Localisation Development:
Oversee the localisation of learning content, website, and promotional assets.
Ensure localisation processes are scalable, efficient, and integrated with the learning team's overall workflows and timelines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the learning team, technology, and marketing to ensure localised content meets expected standards and market-specific requirements.
Collaborate with the learning technology team to ensure seamless integration of localised content into the LSEG Learning Centre.
Liaise with regional and in-market Customer Success teams to gather insights and feedback on local market needs and preferences.
Quality Assurance and Consistency:
Ensure all localised content maintains the same quality, tone, and brand voice as the source material.
Help develop and maintain a glossary, style guide, and translation memory to ensure consistency across languages and markets.
Manage quality assurance processes for all localised materials, conducting reviews and edits as necessary to maintain accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
Vendor Relationships:
Manage projects with external translation agencies, ensuring the work they produce meets our quality standards.
Track our localisation budget, optimising resources for maximum efficiency and cost savings.
Technology and Process Optimisation:
Integrate new technology tools (e.g., translation management tools) alongside our technology team to streamline the localisation process.
Work with peers to continuously improve localisation workflows to increase efficiency, scalability, and quality control.
Leverage data and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of localisation efforts, making changes as required.
Requirements:
Experience:
4+ years of experience in localisation management or a related field.
Experience in managing localisation for websites and digital assets (promotional/marketing campaigns).
Experience managing the localisation of learning assets (e.g., videos, classes) is desirable.
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Kaltura Video Hosting, and/or Learning Management Systems is also desirable.
Technical & Analytical Skills:
Proficiency in localisation tools and platforms (e.g., translation tools).
Strong understanding of localisation best practices, including translation memory, glossaries, and quality assurance processes.
Experience using data and analytics to track localisation performance and improve processes.
Business-level proficiency in English or above.
Cultural & Linguistic Awareness:
Deep understanding of cultural nuances and linguistic differences across various markets.
Familiarity with global markets, with the ability to adapt content and messaging to resonate with local audiences.
Success Metrics:
Quality and robustness of learning resources, website, and marketing assets.
Participation rates of courses.
Marketing effectiveness (open rates, click-through).
Customer satisfaction survey scores of courses.
