Between September 1st to 6th, a total of 8 licensing and cooperation agreements were finalized, with the Chinese market accounting for 3, including 2 overseas transactions and 1 domestic transaction. The most eye-catching overseas transaction was the licensing cooperation between EpimAb Biopharma and Vignette Bio on the former's asset EMB-06, with an upfront payment of $60 million and a total value of $635 million. In terms of domestic transactions, Simcere Pharmaceutical in-licensed TGRX-326 from TargeGenBiopharma, with an upfront payment of $20 million.
Globally, a total of 5 agreements were signed. The largest transaction was the cooperation between Eli Lilly and Genetic Leap on the development of gene therapies using the latter's technology platform, with a total value up to $409 million.
