Essay 1: 25 random things about yourself
The 'Team Fuqua' spirit and community is one of the things that sets the MBA experience apart, and it is a concept that extends beyond the student body to include faculty, staff, and administration. Please share with us “25 Random Things” about you. The Admissions Committee wants to get to know YOU - beyond the professional and academic achievements listed in your resume and transcript. Share with us important life experiences, your hobbies, achievements, fun facts, or anything that helps us understand what makes you who you are.
Essay 2:The Fuqua community and you
Fuqua prides itself on cultivating a culture of engagement. Our students enjoy a wide range of student-led organizations that provide opportunities for leadership development and personal fulfillment, as well as an outlet for contributing to society. Our student-led government, clubs, centers, and events are an integral part of the student culture and to the development of leaders. Based on your understanding of the Fuqua culture, what are 3 ways you expect to contribute at Fuqua?

今年题目不变，又是Fuqua极有特色的CG、25 Random Things和Community and You两篇essay。
CG部分之前已经详细介绍过了，大家可以参考——
特别要highlight的地方是这篇很短，只有100字，大概就等于五、六句话这样。然后在这五、六句话里面，需要包含：
Trigger
Long-Term Goal
Short-Term Goal
Alternative
前面几点都蛮直接的，但很多小伙伴会问到说那Alternative要怎么写。
其实最简单的方法就是：一个能够殊途同归达到同样长期目标的替代短期目标方案，然后这个alternative得在recruiting上可能更容易一些。
打个比方，如果你的工作背景是四大审计，你的LTG是要到互联网或者科技公司做CFO，那你的STG可能会是投行，那alternative可能比较好的选择会是科技公司的Corporate Finance或者Finance LDP项目。

最后，针对Community and You Essay，这篇其实就是一篇标准的Contribution Essay，Contribution Essay我之前在Wharton这一篇的视频中有详细讲解过——
其实还是有一些小小的区别的，我这里来讲讲需要特别注意的地方：就是Fuqua更强调对课堂外、社区里的贡献！
这篇Essay其实在前几年题目里是有特别强调contribution「outside the classroom」的，虽然过去两三年把这句话拿掉了，但是从题目中学校强调「our student-led government，clubs，centers，and events」就可以看出端倪。课堂内的分享和贡献不是不能写，但是篇幅绝对要短，要把重点留给student-led government、clubs、research centers、events等方向的贡献。
也因此，你一定一定要照着我上面视频里说的方式来做，先梳理自己的卖点，然后对应到三点你可以贡献的点，然后针对这三点先去网站上搜集信息，然后去找这些在这些相对应的地方参与的在校生去聊，一步都不能少。
Fuqua是一个极重commitment的学校，你可以从它的binding EA就可以知道，所以在这篇essay中展现你跟很多在校生、校友connect过，且能够展现出跟他们跟你展现出这些student-led government、clubs、research centers、events里的insights，并最后能够connect你过去的经验和卖点来产出实质贡献，这才是这篇essay写得好的关键！
