Recently, Shanghai Huayi 100,000 tons/year green methanol project, undertaken by CNCEC-TCC as the general contractor, held its piling foundation ceremony. This project utilizes biogas derived from the fermentation of wet waste and animal waste to produce green methanol. The successful implementation of this project will play a crucial role in supporting China’s carbon peaking and carbon neutrality strategy and strengthening Shanghai’s position as an international shipping center.
