The 11th Wuzhen Theater Festival kicked off on Oct 17,2024 at Wuzhen Grand Theater. For the next 11 days, Wuzhen will host 86 performances of 24 outstanding works from 11 countries across 11 venues. Highlights include the emerging theater artist competition, street performances ,insightful   interviews with theater masters, and a theater market combining  exhibitions,food,music, and screenings. This vibrant event transforms Wuzhen into a cultural center, drawing theater enthusiasts worldwide to celebrate the power of art and storytelling.

2024年10 月 17 日—27 日，在浙江嘉兴桐乡举办的第十一届乌镇戏剧节期间，快手联合乌镇戏剧节共同发起“新市井匠人市集·乌镇非遗国风秀”。整场活动以“新市井好角儿”为互动主题，汇集全国各地的非遗匠人、戏曲名角等，围绕“走进乌镇，探寻戏剧小镇生活”“来到集市，体验非遗匠人的奇妙手艺”“听一场好戏，感受国乐之盛”3 项内容展开，带领观众沉浸式体验非遗文化，领略传统艺术的魅力。快手还在线上开设传统戏剧直播专场、短视频挑战赛等活动，将传统非遗技艺和现代表演媒介进行跨界联动，吸引更多用户关注。

The live event features five days of special performances and flash shows around scenic areas, highlighting the uniqueness of Chinese traditional culture in theater and creating a cultural heritage area unique to the Wuzhen Theatre Festival. Calligraphy artist "Glass Heart Little Bear" showcases the fluidity of calligraphy with a single brush, while Gu Guoqiang, a fifth-generation inheritor of filigree inlay, crafts stunning “Chinese-style haute couture” with skillful hands. Under the guidance of these heritage masters, the audience can also experience various intangible cultural heritage techniques firsthand.

In the marketplace, the heritage exhibition area showcases filigree inlay, velvet flowers, wheat straw paintings, clay sculptures, and calligraphy, while interactive game zones like archery and ring toss, as well as photo-worthy art installations, fully display these heritage crafts and enhance audience interaction and engagement.

现场活动设置了 5 天表演专场以及景区快闪秀，突出中国传统文化在戏剧现场的独特性，打造乌镇戏剧节传统文化特色区域。书法达人“玻璃心小熊”用一支笔演绎何为行云流水，花丝镶嵌第五代非遗传承人辜国强用一双巧手打造出颇具美感的“中国式高定”。在非遗传承人指点下，现场观众还可以亲身体验各种非遗技艺。

在集市上，花丝镶嵌、绒花、麦秸画、泥塑、书法等非遗民俗展览区，射箭、套圈等游戏互动区以及非遗艺术装置打卡区既充分展现非遗技艺，又进一步增强观众的互动性与体验感。

The "Intangible Cultural Heritage Showcase" brings together a selection of opera, folk performances, and famous traditional musicians. Qin opera artist An Wanyi transports the audience back to ancient Chang’an with his resonant performance. Jingju performer Zhen Shusuo captures attention with her mastery of high-difficulty moves like “flag rotations” and mid-air flips. Liu Shuaiyi, born in the '90s, brings emotional depth to the Sang style of Yu opera, while “Lion Dance Girl,” a female acrobat and northern lion dance inheritor, combines dance, acrobatics, opera, and martial arts, seamlessly blending with her lion counterpart. These captivating performances along the misty landscapes of Jiangnan leave audiences spellbound and longing for more.

“非遗国风秀”还汇集了一批戏曲、民俗表演、国乐名角儿：秦腔演员安万一声秦腔入耳，让人梦回长安；京剧刀马旦甄淑梭凭借“靠旗转刀”、回旋空翻等高难度动作收获大量点赞；95后刘帅毅深得豫剧“桑派”表演精髓，声情并茂；“北狮”女非遗杂技传承人“舞狮妹”融合舞蹈、杂技、戏曲、武术等元素，英姿飒爽，人狮合一。在烟雨江南上演的一场场精彩表演，让观众过目难忘，流连忘返。
