Element biogeochemistry and environmental Ecology in the coastal areas
The coastal area is of importance to the land-sea interface zone, and is quite sensitive to the perturbation by the intensive human activities and nature change. However, we now have limited understanding to the relationship between them. The aim of this special issue is to explore changes in coastal ecosystems, with an emphasis on the environment and ecosystem under land-sea interactions, including but not limited to:
1. Element biogeochemistry
2.Modeling coastal ecosystem
3.Hydro-ecosystem identified by remote sensing
4.Explore the recently used or newly developed marine eco-environment informatics to solve the environmental and ecological problems
5.Coastal zone climate regulation mechanisms under land-sea interaction
6.Management theories and pathways for land-sea interactions in the coastal zone
