Bone and Tissue Regeneration in Dentistry

This special issue of the Journal of Dentistry aims to present up-to-date and pertinent findings concerning bone and tissue regeneration applications in dentistry and would help serve as an evidence base for clinicians and researchers alike.

Special issue information:
The present special issue endeavors to encompass all kinds of clinical, translational, in-vivo, ex-vivo and in-vitro research about bone and tissue regeneration in dentistry. The same shall be accomplished by publishing original research manuscripts with an in-depth conceptualization of solving problems relating to dental bone and tissue loss through regenerative strategies using either clinical or translational methodologies. The scope of the special issue shall also include articles focusing on tissue engineering techniques for bioengineered bone scaffolds with induced osteogenic potential, barrier membranes capable of enhancing soft-tissue coverage and wound healing, and novel adjuncts for bone and tissue defect regeneration. Systematic reviews, presenting well-documented and synthesized evidence pertaining to bone and tissue regeneration in dentistry, shall also be welcomed.

The Journal of Dentistry’s submission system is open for submissions to our special issue titled “Bone and Tissue Regeneration in Dentistry”. When submitting your manuscript, please select the article type, VSI: Bone and Tissue Regeneration in Dentistry from the drop-down list.And the deadline to submit the manuscript will be 30th June 2025.
