Welcome to Silk Mandarin's Chinese Summer Camp of 2024! Our first vibrant group of young learners arrived at the Shanghai campus bright and early last Monday, ready to dive into a journey full of learning, fun, and cultural exploration!
Now let's recap this amazing first week!
Day 1 of Silk Mandarin's Summer Camp 2024 is a wrap! We welcomed our first group of excited campers to the campus. After a warm orientation, we got to know each other better through fun introductions. The day was filled with laughter and new friendships as we played ice-breaking games that brought everyone closer together.
The highlight of the day was a sweet escape to the Chocolate Factory where fun and creativity melted together. Our campers not only got to enjoy delicious treats but also practiced their Mandarin by describing the chocolate-making process.
🐬Day 3 - Wonders at the Ocean Park
This field trip was a fantastic way to combine learning with real-world experiences, making Mandarin come alive outside the classroom!
🖌️Day 4 - Playful Learning & Artiful Strokes
The afternoon was dedicated to Chinese calligraphy. Our Campers learned about the history and techniques of this ancient art form and had the opportunity to create their own creative calligraphy pieces.
📝Day 5 - Review, Projects & Gomoku Joy
In the afternoon, the campers participated in a lively game of Gomoku in the afternoon. This classic game was a fun and strategic way to wrap up the week, reinforcing their language skills and fostering a sense of friendly competition.
