Welcome to the exciting start of Silk Mandarin Summer Camp Session 4! Our first week has been an incredible journey, as campers dove into Mandarin language classes and embraced Chinese culture through fun and engaging activities. From creative tie-dye projects to exploring Shanghai Safari Park and enjoying a lively city walk, this week has been packed with unforgettable experiences and learning opportunities.
🎉Day 1 - Another new journey
Camp 4 Day 1 of Silk Mandarin Summer Camp is another whole new journey!
The campers dived into their first Mandarin class, eager to begin their language-learning journey. In the afternoon, they participated in exciting cultural games, fostering teamwork and cultural understanding.
🎨Day 2 - Tie-Dye Fun
Day 2 of Camp 4 was a blend of language learning and creative expression.
Morning Mandarin classes helped campers improve their language skills. In the afternoon, campers had a blast with tie-dye activities, creating colorful and unique designs.
🦒Day 3 - Safari time
The third day was all about making friends with all kinds of animals at the Shanghai Safari Park! Campers met giraffes, lions, penguins, flamingos and many more adorable wild animals!It was a day full of exploration, learning and new memories.Day 4 was filled with creativity and fun at Silk Mandarin Summer Camp!Campers continued their Mandarin classes, making great progress. The afternoon was spent on fan painting, where campers explored traditional Chinese art and expressed their creativity.🏸Day 5 - Sports & Teamwork
Day 5 combined physical activity and learning at Silk Mandarin Summer Camp!The day started with Tai Chi fan exercises and breakfast. Campers enjoyed a friendly game of badminton, basketball & table tennis, promoting teamwork and fitness in the afternoon.🚌Day 6&7 - Shanghai Museum of Glass & Shanghai City Walk
The weekend of Camp 4 was fulfilling and exciting!First of all, we visited the Shanghai Museum of Glass, watched the process of making glass, and learned a little knowledge about glass!Then we had a relaxing Shanghai city walk, tasted Shanghai food, visited the Wukang Building, went to the Bund & Lujiazui, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Shanghai!As Week 1 of Session 4 comes to a close, we reflect on the amazing adventures and progress our campers have made. From language learning to cultural exploration, every day has brought new challenges and joys. We're excited for the journey ahead and can't wait to continue exploring and growing together.
