Ms. Lynn is an ethnographer and foresight consultant based in Shanghai, China, with over 16 years of experience. She is the co-founder of FuturistCircle and Future Matters, two organizations aimed at promoting future thinking. Her journey into foresight began in 2018 after attending a transformative workshop called "Journey to Mars," which shifted her perspective from focusing solely on micro-level research into human behavior to exploring more holistic, macro-level future thinking. She has worked with renowned global brands such as IKEA, L’Oréal, and Mercedes-Benz, integrating foresight and insight to drive innovation and sustainability.
One of her current initiatives is the book, Foresight into Action, set to be released soon. This book aims to provide a practical methodology for integrating foresight and insight into innovation processes. Ms. Lynn emphasizes the importance of adapting to uncertainties by developing a holistic understanding of the market environment and identifying sustainable opportunities. Ms. Lynn has a profound interest in the concept of happiness. She initiated a project called “Regenerating Happiness”, where she conducts seminars and workshops to explore what true happiness means in today’s fast-paced world. Through her research, she highlights that many individuals pursue material success without reflecting on what genuinely brings them joy.
