在丽江古城度过了一个舒适的夜晚之后，我们前往泸沽湖。车程大约是4个小时，但时间过得飞快！我们和孩子们玩了很多车内游戏。不知不觉就到了！

第一站：美味的午餐，大家吃得非常满足，准备好迎接接下来的冒险。

然后，我们前往摩梭人博物馆，祈福仪式后我们见到了非常棒的慈仁多吉馆长。

他给我们做了一个精彩的导览，我们学到了很多关于摩梭文化和历史的知识。你知道吗？摩梭人非常包容，特别重视母系文化和尊敬长辈，真的很让人敬佩！

接下来，我们体验了拓印，大家都玩得不亦乐乎，每个人都制作了属于自己的独特自制纪念品带回家。效果很棒。这是一个度过下午的有趣而富有创意的方式。

最感人的时刻是慧源完小学的孩子们来迎接我们。我们和这所学校做了多年的公益，所以再次见到他们真是太好了。我们分发了带来的礼物，看到他们开心的笑脸真是无价之宝！

在经历了所有的精彩活动之后，我们以美味的鱼晚餐结束了这一天。

大家都挺累的，还有一点高原反应（大家都晕乎乎的）。我们晚上做了一点作业，然后就结束了这一天，睡香香去。

2024 Summer Mosuo Cultural Heritage Trip | Fieldnote Journal 1
Hey everyone! I'm excited to be back with my fieldnote journal series after many years to share our adventures in Lugu Lake with everyone!
We had an unforgettable day, and I can't wait to share all the fun we had 🏞️
After a cozy night in Lijiang Old Town, we hit the road to Lugu Lake.

The drive was about 4 hours, but time flew by as we played car games with the kids. Before we knew it, we had arrived!

First stop: a delicious lunch that left everyone satisfied and ready for adventure.
Then, we headed to the Mosuo People Museum, where we were welcomed with a Blessing Ceremony.

There, we met the incredible Museum Director CiRenDuoJi. He gave us a fantastic tour, and we learned so much about the Mosuo culture and history.
Did you know the Mosuo people are all about inclusivity, with a special focus on maternity and respecting elders? Truly inspiring!

Next up, we got our hands dirty with a stone printing activity. Everyone had a blast making their own unique prints to take home. The prints turned out great, and it was such a fun, creative way to spend the afternoon.
A heartwarming moment followed as some kids from the Mosuo Elementary School HuiYuanWan came to greet us. We've done charity work with this school for years, so it was wonderful to see them again. We handed out the gifts we brought, and their smiles were priceless!

After all the excitement, we wrapped up the day with a tasty fish dinner.

Everyone was pretty wiped out, not to mention dealing with a bit of elevation sickness (dizzy!). We ended the evening with some homework before calling it a day.
