前言
时值中华人民共和国成立75周年之际，在德宏州文化和旅游局、德宏州文学艺术界联合会、德宏州侨联的指导之下，德宏国际美术双年展迎来了第二届。展览邀请了来自中国、泰国、老挝、越南、缅甸、马来西亚、孟加拉国、印度、英国、法国、德国、意大利、捷克、挪威、爱尔兰、瑞士共16国70余位艺术家的近120余件作品。涵盖了绘画、影像、装置、书法、行为等多种艺术门类。以此着力发掘本土地域特色，加强国际文化与艺术交流。
德宏地处云南西部，毗邻中南半岛。回溯历史，古代南方丝绸之路经此而延伸至南亚、东南亚。穿行山岭溪涧的马帮携物载货，在古代中外之间贸易往来，而多元文化也随马铃共振，传播至今。新中国成立以来，德宏因其独特的区位优势，逐渐成为我国面向“两亚”的门户枢纽。历代积淀与时代新风，让德宏迎来前所未有的发展机遇。德宏国际美术双年展便是当地在文化艺术领域的创举。
本届双年展以“生命之象”为主题，表达两种愿景:
其一，展览邀请艺术家进行在地艺术创作，深入德宏的人文与自然环境之中，感知幷创作以德宏特有的自然生命等为题材的作品内容。其二，艺术家不仅是对当地客观自然物象的描摹，而是借此直呈德宏乃至延伸到对东南亚、南亚等地区多元自然样态、蓬勃生命意象、与自然共融共生的生存精神的多维发掘与艺术转换。
事实上，强调地域的概念与保护传统文化艺术的传播，在当代社会变得越来越重要。基于地方产生的独特物种，人文生态，自然环境等为日渐同质化的人类世界提供了崭新的思维方式与发展生态。多国艺术家的作品，以艺为桥，来到美丽诗意的德宏，他们以“德宏之眼”展示着本土文化和世界文化、传统文化和当代文化的关系，构建着新时代德宏的地域艺文特色。
On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, under the guidance of the Dehong Culture and Tourism Bureau, Dehong Literature and Art Federation, and Dehong Overseas Chinese Federation, we have. The exhibition features nearly 120 works by more than 70 artists from 16 countries including China, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, Malaysia, Bangladesh, India, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Norway, Ireland and Switzerland. It covers various art forms such as painting, imaging, installation, calligraphy and performance. We will focus on exploring local regional characteristics and strengthening international cultural and artistic exchanges.
Dehong is located in the west of Yunnan Province, adjacent to Indochina Peninsula. Looking back in history, the ancient Southern Silk Road passed through Dehong to South Asia and Southeast Asia. The muleteers who traversed over mountains and streams carried goods, facilitating trade between China and foreign countries in those days. The diversified cultures also got to spread with the resonance of the horse ringing. Since the founding of New China, Dehong has gradually become a gateway hub for South Asia and Southeast Asia due to its unique regional advantages. The accumulation of history and the new trends of the times have ushered in unprecedented development opportunities for Dehong. Dehong International Art Biennial is a local initiative in the field of culture and art.
Under the theme "Images of Life", the Biennial expresses two visions:
First, the exhibition invites artists to engage in site-specific art creation, delving into Dehong's human and natural environment, perceiving and creating works that focus on the unique natural life in Dehong. Secondly, the artist depict not only the local natural objects, but also the multidimensional exploration and artistic transformation of the diversified natural forms, vibrant life imagery and the spirit of coexistence with nature, extending from Dehong to South Asia and Southeast Asia.
In deed, emphasizing the concept of region and protecting the spread of traditional culture and art are becoming more and more important in contemporary society. The unique species, human ecology and natural environment in Dehong provide a new way of thinking and development ecology for the increasingly homogenized human world. Taking art as a bridge, the works of all the artists gather in the beautiful and poetic Dehong, showing the relationship between local culture and world culture, traditional culture and contemporary culture with the "eye of Dehong", constructing the regional artistic and cultural characteristics of Dehong in the new era.

高天雄
个人简介
高天雄，汉族，中央美术学院教授，1953年11月生于北京，1969年12月入伍，曾任兰州部队政治部文艺创作组创作员，先后毕业于解放军艺术学（院），中央美术学院，曾任中央美术学院附中校长，以及中央美术学院造型基础部主任。會参加2006-2009年“国家重大历史題材美术创作工程”创作。
Gao Tianxiong, Han nationality, professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, was born in Beijing in November 1953. He joined the army in December 1969 and once served as the writer of the literary and Artistic Creation Group of the Political Department of the Lanzhou Army. He graduated from the PLA Art School, the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and the principal of the Central Academy of Fine Arts Foundation Department. He will participate in the "National Major Historical Theme Art Creation Project" from 2006 to 2009.

张方白，1991年毕业于中央美术学院油画系第四工作室。1995-2001年任教于天津美术学院油画系，2001-2018年任教于北京青年政治学院艺术系。现任华东师范大学教授、硕士生导师，中国表现艺术中心主任。
Zhang Fangbai graduated from the 4th Studio of Oil Painting Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1991. From 1995 to 2001, he taught at the Oil Painting Department of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, and from 2001 to 2018, he taught at the Art Department of Beijing Youth University of Political Science. 现为中捷当代美术馆馆长及国际策展人、独立艺术家。1996年毕业于中央美术学院国画系并获硕士学位。2012年在北京创立中捷当代美术馆（简称CCC），2014年荣获欧洲文化艺术奖并接受捷克总统颁奖，成为该奖项首位获奖华人。
She is currently the director and international curator of the Sino-Czech Museum of Contemporary Art and an independent artist. In 1996, he graduated from the Department of Traditional Chinese Painting of the Central Academy of Fine Arts with a master's degree. In 2012, he founded the China-Czech Museum of Contemporary Art (CCC) in Beijing. In 2014, he won the European Prize for Culture and Art and received the award from the President of the Czech Republic, becoming the first Chinese to win the award.

Gao Xiang received his doctor's degree in oil painting from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2008. His works won the Excellent Works Award (the only award) of the Third National Youth Art Exhibition and the first prize of the Yunnan Fine Art Exhibition in 2017. 个人简介
曾晓峰，国家一级美术师，云南油画学会副会长，先后结业于中央工艺美术学院及中央美术学院。作品多次获奖，包括中国90年代艺术双年展优秀奖和全国美展油画铜奖。作品被多个美术馆收藏，并参与重要展览如威尼斯双年展。
Zeng Xiaofeng, national first-class artist, vice president of Yunnan Oil Painting Society, graduated from Central Academy of Arts and Crafts and Central Academy of Fine Arts. His works have won many awards, including the Excellence Award of the China Art Biennale of the 1990s and the Bronze Award of the National Oil Painting Exhibition. His work has been collected by several museums and has been included in important exhibitions such as the Venice Biennale.

1987年四川美术学院版画系毕业，现任云南艺术学院教授。90年代起创作当代艺术，作品曾参加欧美及世界众多国家举办的中国当代艺术展，并在德国埃森、中国北京、上海等城市举办个人画展广泛参展并被国际机构收藏。2010年起，专注于亚洲野生动物摄影，记录人与自然的冲突。出版包括《荒野纪实一亚洲野生动物》在内的多部专著。
He graduated from the printmaking Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 1987 and is now a professor of Yunnan Art University. He has been creating contemporary art since the 1990s, and his works have participated in many Chinese contemporary art exhibitions held in Europe, the United States and other countries around the world, and have been widely exhibited and collected by international institutions in Essen, Germany, Beijing, Shanghai and other cities. Since 2010, he has focused on wildlife photography in Asia, documenting the conflict between man and nature. He has published several monographs, including "Wilderness Documentary - Asian Wildlife".

个人简介
秦琦，1975年出生于陕西省，1999年考入鲁迅美院油面系，2001年考入鲁迅美院油画系研究生，2002年毕业留校任教。现生活工作于沈阳。作品多次参展，包括2005年南京三年展、70后艺术展、新锐绘面展等，涉及油画、当代艺术多个领域，作品遍布全国各大美术馆。
Qin Qi, born in 1975 in Shaanxi Province, was admitted to the Oil painting Department of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in 1999, and was admitted to the oil painting department of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in 2001. Currently lives and works in Shenyang. His works have been exhibited many times, including the 2005 Nanjing Triennial, the post-70s Art Exhibition, the New Painting Exhibition, etc., covering many fields of oil painting and contemporary art, and his works are all over the major art museums in China.

张颜
个人简介
张颜，毕业于天津美术学院油画系。曾任天津大学仁爱学院艺术系教师，目前为职业艺术家。艺术创作注重画面内容与形式给观者带来的体验，通过视觉图像引导观者进行一种静态的反思。作品主要朵用亚克力颜料和纸板力媒介，描绘人与自然的关联与矛盾。
Zhang Yan, graduated from the Oil painting Department of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. He used to be a teacher in the art department of Ren 'ai College, Tianjin University, and is now a professional artist. Artistic creation pays attention to the experience brought by the content and form of the picture to the audience, and guides the audience to carry on a static reflection through visual images. The work mainly uses acrylic paint and cardboard force media to depict the relationship and contradiction between man and nature.

窗外阴沉的天气似乎即将迎来一场暴风雨，窗边人物惹白的脸与窗外阴沉的景色形成了鲜明的对比。在人物的脸上感受不到太多的情绪，他似乎是以一个局外人的身份观察着窗外的一切，他的右耳贴近窗边可能是正在聆听着狂风卷着树叶作呐。艺术家张颜在画面中营造出一静一动，一明一暗两种载然不同的氛围。

1996年毕业于中国美术学院油画系。致育部公派俄罗斯列宾美术学院油画系访问学者，2008年6月毕业于俄罗斯国立师范大学造型艺术系，获艺术学博士学位。现为云南艺术学院美术学院院长，教授、硕士研究生导师。中国美协会员，云南省美协油画艺委会主任、云南油画学会副会长。作品多次入选国家级、省级展览；主持2项国家艺术基金项目。
He graduated from the Oil Painting Department of China Academy of Art in 1996. In June 2008, he graduated from the Department of Plastic Arts of Russian State Normal University and obtained a Doctor's degree in art. He is now the dean, professor and tutor of the School of Fine Arts of Yunnan Art University. Member of China Artists Association, Director of Oil Painting Art Committee of Yunnan Artists Association, Vice president of Yunnan Oil Painting Society. His works have been selected for national and provincial exhibitions for many times; He chaired two National Arts Fund projects.

个人简介
和丽斌，1973年生于云南，跨媒体艺术家、策展人，云南艺术学院美术学院油画系副教授，云南油画学会副会长，空空间主理人，“废酷美学"联合发起人。1997年至今在世界17个国家41个城市参展100多次，策划和主持艺术展览80多次，致力于在全球化语境下跨文化的交流与实验。
He Libin, born in Yunnan in 1973, is a cross-media artist and curator, associate professor of Oil Painting Department of Fine Arts College of Yunnan Art University, Vice president of Yunnan Oil Painting Society, director of Empty Space, and co-founder of "Waste Cool Aesthetics". Since 1997, he has exhibited more than 100 times in 41 cities in 17 countries around the world, curated and hosted more than 80 art exhibitions, and is committed to cross-cultural exchanges and experiments in the context of globalization.

硕士毕业于广州美术学院油画系，现任云南艺术学院美术学院油画系副教授、硕士生导师，云南省美术协会油画艺委会委员。近年来，参与了四十多次省级和国家级展览获奖或入选，二十余项为省级展览获奖或入选。主持一项国家艺术基金青年艺术创作人才资助项目，并参与完成了一项国家艺术基金艺术人才培训项目。
She graduated from the Department of Oil Painting of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and is currently an associate professor and master tutor of the Department of Oil Painting of Yunnan Academy of Fine Arts, and a member of the Oil Painting Art Committee of Yunnan Fine Arts Association. In recent years, participated in more than 40 provincial and national exhibition awards or selected, more than 20 provincial exhibition awards or selected. Presided over a National Arts Foundation youth artistic talent funding project, and participated in the completion of a National Arts Foundation art talent training project.

作品《荣华伫》在白族的石產造像中选择了阿史白作为切入点。将阿央白解构为黑白点状图案，倚势用箭头标注了雕像的动势，在这个图示背后加入许多我对阿央白以及母性的感受性符号，她坚固而温和，一如她本身所蕴含的意义。作品中还使用了白语的拼音文字书写了白族民间白曲以及马甲图示作为符号，希望作品能传达出叙事 性的神秘意境。
程新皓
个人简介
程新皓，1985年出生于云南。2013年毕业于北京大学化学与分子工程学院，获博士学位。现作为艺术家工作生活于云南昆明。他的作品通常基于长期的田野调查，并均与故乡云南相关。通过身体在场的工作方式，程新皓使用录像、裝置、摄影与文字等媒介，体察不同来源的逻辑、话语、知识与其背后自然、社会、历史，及镶嵌于其中的行动者之间的复调链接。
Cheng Xinhao was born in Yunnan Province in 1985. In 2013, he graduated from the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering of Peking University with a doctorate degree. He lives and works as an artist in Kunming, Yunnan Province. His works are usually based on long-term field research and are all related to his home province of Yunnan. Through physical presence, Cheng uses media such as video, installation, photography and text to explore the polyphonic links between logic, discourse and knowledge from different sources and the nature, society and history behind them, as well as the actors embedded in them.

在十七世纪初的明缅军事冲突中，云南巡抚陈用宾为了减少边境驻军，构筑了以腾越八关为核心的防御体系，在三宣地区主要道路的险要处建立关隘堡垒扼守。这些边关最终形成了不同地区之间的心理区隔、“内”“外”想象。两个同步视频中，第一视角的行动者在当下时空中不停向已经坍塌为废墟的边关奔跑，持续地出关/入关。不时进入的电影场景与配乐也随着持续的奔跑往复推进：这些片段来自上世纪50年代至60年代初时关于云南边境的电影，尤其是那些在边境追逐的场景。它们是彼时云南边境想象的另一种具身化。
焦捷
个人简介
焦捷，1989年生于云南丽江，本硕博毕业于中央美术学院。现工作于云南艺术学院。作品多次參展，2018年的“选修Ⅲ：眼中体/桥下树”艺术展、2019年中央美术学院博士毕业展，2022年云南省首届青年油画展等。2023年，作品《F》系列在中国（全国）美术学院艺术邀请展中展出。
Jiao Jie, born in 1989 in Lijiang, Yunnan Province, graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He now works at Yunnan Art University. His works have been exhibited many times, including the "Elective III: Eye Body/Tree under the Bridge" art exhibition in 2018, the doctoral graduation exhibition of Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2019, and the first Youth oil painting exhibition in Yunnan Province in 2022. In 2023, the work "F" series will be exhibited in the Art Invitation Exhibition of China (National) Academy of Fine Arts.
