In the 12-year primary and secondary education, there are about 1.3 million knowledge points, among which the primary education only covers 3% while it lasts for 6 years. Besides learning knowledge, what core qualities should the children have in the primary stage?
In a day of 24 hours, apart from sleep time, the children spend more than 80% of the time in school. We have to ask: Are children enjoying the fun and autonomy of learning, or are they forced to waste time? What will children get in 80% of the time?
With the arrival of artificial intelligence, it is estimated that about 14 million jobs worldwide will disappear. Facing such a situation, how can our current education system prepare children for the future?
The world has seen rapid and diverse changes. If educational thoughts and plans still remain stuck in traditional models without adapting to the changes of the times, where will we go?
A child can be transformed only once. During the most malleable stage of growth, how should we provide support for children to help them grow into their best versions? On November 23rd, the MIS Campus Open Day is expected to provide answers to your doubts.
A face-to-face meeting with the principals, planning the path of growth
On this open day, we have invited the Chinese and foreign principals of MIS to attend together. We will introduce in detail the cultivation concept and system of MIS, how to implement holistic education in daily teaching and cultivate global citizens with lifelong learning ability and social responsibility. Based on years of educational experience and the current development trends of domestic and foreign education and industries, we will have an in-depth discussion with students and parents on how to create a growth environment for students that is "neither anxious nor tired, with the development of academic and comprehensive abilities in both directions." We will also have in-depth communication with parents on students' academic and college development planning and will address all parents' doubts on this open day.
Featured experience classes, feeling the charm of international education
We know that in any teaching system, music and physical education are important components of the curriculum. They can not only improve students' physical health and cognitive abilities but also promote emotional development, social skills, and cultural understanding, laying a solid foundation for the comprehensive development of students.
PE classes can not only improve students' sports skills and ensure students' physical and mental health but also shape students' self-confidence, exercise social skills, improve students' self-discipline, and develop good living habits.
Music classes can not only improve students' memory, attention, and cognitive abilities but also help students understand and express themselves. The music also helps students understand and appreciate different cultures.
On this open day, MIS has also prepared public experience classes, and students will immerse themselves in rugby and music courses that are suitable for children of all ages.

校长面对面，规划成长之路
此次开放日，我们邀请了MIS中外方校长共同出席，我们将详细介绍MIS的培养理念和培养体系，如何在日常教学中实行全人教育，培养具有终身学力和社会责任感的世界公民；并且将根据多年教育经验和国内外当前教育及行业的发展趋势，与学生和家长畅谈如何为学生创造一个“不鸡不卷，学术能力和综合能力双向发展的成长环境”；此外，我们还将就学生的学业规划及升学发展规划与家长进行深度的沟通，家长的疑问都将在此次开放日得到解答。
特色体验课，感受国际教育的魅力
我们知道，在任何教学体系中，音乐和体育都是课程的重要组成部分，它们不仅能够提高学生的身体健康和认知能力，还能促进情感发展、社交技能和文化理解，为学生的全面发展打下坚实的基础。
体育课不仅仅可以提升学生的运动技能，确保学生的身心健康发展，更可以塑造学生的自信心，锻炼社交能力，提升学生的自律性，养成良好的生活习惯。
而音乐课不仅仅可以提升学生的记忆力，注意力和认知能力，也可以帮助学生理解和表达自己，并且可以通过音乐学习帮助学生了解和欣赏不同的文化。
此次开放日，MIS也准备了体验课，学生们将沉浸式体验橄榄球和音乐课程，适合各个年龄段的孩子参加。
