Special issue information:
This Special Issue will weave a comprehensive narrative around several key topics within the realm of multimodal transport resilience.
(1) It will examine the resilience of transport networks, particularly how different modes of transportation interact and support each other in the face of disruptions.
(2)The issue will also explore the role of technological advancements, such as smart transportation technologies, large language models, and management strategies, in enhancing the resilience of multimodal transport systems.
(3) There will be a focus on the regional aspects of transport resilience, viewed through the lens of transport geography. This involves assessing how regional transportation systems, with their unique geographical and socio-economic characteristics, can be designed and managed to withstand various challenges.
(4) The role of policy in shaping resilient multimodal transport networks will be a critical area of exploration.
This includes analyzing how policy interventions at various levels, from local to global, can contribute to or hinder the development of resilient transportation systems.
Manuscript submission information:

Journal of Transport Geography的CAR指数
