On November 14, 2023, AC Shanghai hosted Women in Technology Code Camp focused on empowering women students with skills and knowledge required to build careers in technology.The camp provided a comprehensive insight into cutting-edge technologies and inspired the participants to pursue careers in technology by offering hands-on experience of building with business applications. Aimed at female university students specializing in technology and those passionate about technology, this annual event drew 40 students from Donghua University.![]()
The engaging session featured 4 professionals from Insurance Enabled Technologies (IET) team, Chris Wu (Senior Manager) and William Wu (Manager), Neal Zhang (Manager), and Curry Xu (Manager) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) Team, who introduced new advanced technologies such as Generative AI and Code Whisperer, etc. to the participants. The participants also received hands-on experience with business applications through real-world scenarios and opportunities to apply their learnings in practical settings.

Cassie Zhang, Talent Acquisition Leader, introduced the participants to PwC culture, values, career development in AC Shanghai and inclusive development. Ricky Jiang, IET Director & Digital Leader, spoke about upskilling opportunities, Educational Support Program, and AI learning.The participants were highly energized by the opportunities to expand their horizons and newfound confidence and motivation to pursue careers in technology.
