In Merida, Yucatán, Mexico, FMT Estudio’s carefully remodeled “Dolores” house is like a solidified historical book, opening a new chapter in 2023, continuing the harmonious symphony of urban memory and modern life.
在墨西哥尤卡坦州的梅里达，FMT Estudio 精心重塑的 “多洛雷斯” 住宅，宛如一部凝固的历史典籍，于 2023 年翻开崭新篇章，续写城市记忆与现代生活的和谐交响。
Outdoors, the building as a whole adheres to the traditional rhythm of the region. The original volume is as solid as ever, and the brick and stone texture has become more mellow after years of baptism. It stands proudly on the street, guarding the city's past style. The newly added part is like a dynamic modern movement, lightly jumping in the back and second-floor space. The contemporary style has simple and smooth lines, and the glass curtain wall and metal decorations shine with technological luster, and dialogue with the simple brick and stone walls in light and shadow. The wooden grille and the cantilevered balcony add a warm layer to the facade, neutralizing the confrontation between the new and the old, the traditional and the modern, becoming a model of gradual change of architectural style in the block, and realizing the seamless transition of time and space.
室外，建筑整体恪守地域传统韵律。原始体量坚实如初，砖石肌理经岁月洗礼更显醇厚，于街道昂首矗立，守护城市往昔风貌。新增部分如灵动现代乐章，轻盈跃于后侧与二层空间。当代风格线条简洁流畅，玻璃幕墙与金属饰件闪烁科技光泽，与古朴砖石墙在光影中对话。木质格栅、挑檐阳台为立面添温馨层次，中和新与旧、传统与现代对峙，成街区建筑风格渐变典范，实现时空交融无痕过渡。
Stepping into the interior, the layout innovation follows the new needs of life. The original single brick and stone corridor has been remodeled, and the living area is suddenly open and transparent, with sunlight and breeze, which is the core of family gatherings. The newly added independent bedroom is quiet and private, with good sound insulation and excellent lighting. The soft furnishings are simple and exquisite, and the sleeping atmosphere is quiet. The service space is reasonably planned, with abundant storage and intelligent facilities, making life convenient and efficient.
步入室内，布局革新依循生活新需。原单一砖石长廊经重塑，起居区豁然开朗，通透开敞，阳光漫洒，微风畅行，为家庭欢聚核心。新增独立卧室静谧私密，隔音佳、采光优，软装陈设简约精致，睡眠氛围宁谧。服务空间规划合理，储物丰富、设施智能，生活便捷高效。
The use of materials and color matching are exquisite. The local wood has natural texture and warm texture. It is used to lay floors and carve furniture, full of natural vitality. Domestic marble is gorgeously laid out in the kitchen and bathroom. The texture is smart like the earth's poetry and painting. It is wear-resistant and easy to clean, and interprets luxury and eternity. The paint is made on-site by hand, with rich colors and delicate texture. The walls and ceilings are covered with it, like an art canvas. Neutral beige, warm gray, light brown and other tones are used as the basis, echoing the original colors of natural materials, and occasionally appearing in azure blue and emerald green, like a miniature of the warm sunshine and lush green plants in Mexico, balancing the tranquility and depth with the vitality, creating a warm, comfortable, elegant and fashionable home atmosphere.
材料运用与色彩搭配精妙绝伦。本土木材纹理天然、质感温润，铺就地板、雕琢家具，满盈自然生机。国产大理石于厨房、卫浴华丽铺陈，纹理灵动似大地诗画，耐磨易洁，演绎奢华永恒。现场制作涂料手工匠艺，色彩醇厚、质地细腻，墙壁天花板覆之，如艺术画布。中性米白、暖灰、淡棕等色调为基，呼应自然材质原色，偶现湛蓝、翠绿活泼点缀，似墨西哥热烈阳光与葱郁绿植缩影，平衡宁静深邃与活力跃动，营温馨惬意、优雅时尚家居意境。
