关于沉默社交局 About Silent Social
我是一个很社恐的人，有时喜欢躲在屏幕后面也不愿意和人面对面的交流，但有的时候又渴望见到一些新鲜面孔感受一下人间烟火气。这个能认识新朋友但又不需要怎么说话的活动就是这样来的。
活动开始的时候大家每轮都会有四分钟的时间对坐在对面的陌生人写下想对对方写下的内容，可以是一个字，一句话，一首诗，一张画等等。三分钟的时间到了后会按照顺序交换位置，继续下一轮，直到结束。
然后我们会将所有的匿名作品收集起来交给当事人，当事人可以从中挑选一篇最欣赏的作品，然后有兴趣的话大家可以互相认识一下，聊得来的话大家可以坐下来喝一杯，说不定也会是一段美妙故事的开始。
How can you meet people in a big city like Shanghai when you are a little shy or don’t like noisy, crowded social events?
Welcome to Silent Social!
Step by step instructions will be given by the host during the activity, but the overall concept is everyone will write and recieve up to 10 anonymous notes. Everyone will have 10 x 4-minute rotations where they will write to a stranger sat across from them.
The messages you write can be in any form such as an observation, a poem, or even a drawing. The only restrictions are: no sensitive topics and no details that could reveal your identity.
We hope this casual and welcoming environment will help everyone spread kindness and possibly make new friends or maybe even a romantic date ;)

活动以英语主持，现场会有中文翻译。但是大家可以用任何自己想用的语言来写作，不过不用担心可能会出现的语言问题，确信大家会用别的方式来化解语言上的障碍，这样也会让过程变的更有意思。
The event is hosted in English (with a Chinese co-host), but people can write in any language they want. Don't worry about the language barriers. We're sure that people will use other ways to overcome them, which will bring more fun to the experience.
