Wets (the bed): When a child accidentally urinates while sleeping.
Sheet: A piece of cloth that covers a mattress on a bed.
Bladder: An organ in the body that holds urine until you go to the bathroom.
Urine: A liquid waste that the body produces and is expelled when you go to the toilet.
Constipation: A condition where a person has difficulty passing stools or has infrequent bowel movements.
Pressure: The force or weight that something puts on another thing. In this case, a full bowel puts pressure on the bladder.
Naughty: A term used to describe a child who is misbehaving or not following rules.
Training pants: Special underwear that helps young children learn to use the toilet and stay dry at night.
Plastic cove: A protective layer made of plastic that goes over something, like a mattress, to keep it dry.
Serious: Something that is important and may need medical attention.
Diabetes: A medical condition where the body has trouble controlling blood sugar levels.
Kidney problems: Issues related to the kidneys, which are organs that help filter waste from the blood and produce urine.

Parent: I'm worried about my son Bob， he still wets the bed at night.
Nurse: How old is your son?
Parent: He's 4 years old. 4 years old and he is still wetting the bed.
Nurse:How often does he wet the bed?
Parent: He wets the bed almost every night. I have to wash the sheets every day.
Nurse: That must be very difficult. Does he wet himself during the day as well?
Parent: No, he's dry during the day.

Parent: I don't understand why he can be dry during the day but wets the bed at night.

Nurse: There are a few things you can do which might help Bob. He can wear training pants instead of underpants. You could put a plastic cover over his mattress. Make sure that he goes to the toilet before bed as well.
Parent: Okay, I will try. Is his bed wetting a serious problem?
Nurse: It is only serious if it is caused by diabetes or kidney problems, but that is very rare.
Parent: So I should wait and see whether he grows out of it?
Nurse: That's right. However, if the problem continues, it's important to take Bob to the doctor to be checked.
