China Extends Visa-Free Travel
China's Foreign Ministry announced this month that it has extended its visa-free policy to include New Zealand, Australia, and Poland.
Visitors from these countries can now enjoy stays of up to 15 days until the end of 2025, joining 11 other European countries* and Malaysia in the visa-free scheme launched earlier this year. This initiative aims to enhance business, tourism, and cultural exchanges.
*Citizens of Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland (and now Poland) are among the European countries allowed to enter China without a visa until the end of next year.

22 New National Tourist Resorts
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has designated 22 new tourism destinations as China National Tourist Resorts, the highest level of resort evaluation in the country. Since the start of the national tourist resort rating system in 2015, the country has now accredited a total of 85 resorts nationwide.
Gubei Water Town
The 22 newly designated resorts include destinations like Gubei Water Town in Beijing; Chimelong International Ocean Tourist Resort in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province; Changshan Islands Tourist Resort in Dalian, Liaoning Province; Changbaishan Beautiful China Resort in Jilin Province; Yixian International Rural Tourism Resort in Huangshan City, Anhui Province; and Tongguan Kiln Tourist Resort in Changsha, Hunan Province. These additions are expected to boost local economies and attract both domestic and international travelers.
China's National Museum of Marine Archeology
China will commence construction of a national museum of marine archaeology this year in Qingdao, Shandong Province. The museum will display China's marine archaeological history and achievements, featuring rare underwater cultural relics.

It will also serve as a key venue for public education and scientific research in marine archaeology, highlighting China's commitment to preserving its underwater cultural heritage. The museum is expected to support Qingdao's cultural conservation and archaeological efforts, as well as enhance its status as a coastal tourism and national historical city.
Hainan Airlines Resumes Direct Flights to Europe
Hainan Airlines has resumed direct flights between Europe and China:
Between Brussels and Shanghai, Hainan Airlines now offers four weekly flights, creating a convenient travel link between these two cities.
Additionally, flights have resumed between Beijing and Prague, with three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
With the successful resumption of these routes, Hainan Airlines now operates flights to 11 destinations across Europe.
