September 30 is International Translation Day. Translation is important in the exchange between different civilizations. Higher-quality translation is of the utmost importance to boosting China's voice in the international community. Chinese President Xi Jinping has said that through accurate and vivid translation and introduction, the world can better understand China in the new era, which is of great significance for promoting exchange and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign civilizations. Xi is also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission.
