近日,南京工业大学Zhenlei Liu(第一作者)、朱政明副教授(通讯作者)和江凌教授(通讯作者)等在国际期刊《Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry》发表了题为“Clostridium tyrobutyricum in Combination with Chito-oligosaccharides Modulate Inflammation and Gut Microbiota for Inflammatory Bowel Disease Treatment”的封面文章。
结果表明,合生元补充剂有效地缓解了炎症并恢复了肠道屏障功能。此外,合生元补充剂可有助于消除活性氧(ROS),并通过酪丁酸梭菌的短链脂肪酸产生菌提高短链脂肪酸的产生。而且,这种合生元还可以调节肠道微生物的组成。这些发现强调了酪丁酸梭菌和壳寡糖作为有价值的活体生物治疗药物在治疗肠道相关疾病方面的潜力。
