题目:我国法医学研究主要成就及展望


主讲人简介:


刘超,主任法医师,教授,中国工程院院士。先后担任广州市刑事科学技术研究所所长、广州市公安局刑事警察支队支队长、广东省毒品实验技术中心(国家毒品实验室广东分中心)主任。刘超院士是我国法医遗传学主要创始人、DNA数据库建设的主要发起者和国产化DNA试剂的主要研发者。从事法医学研究与鉴定30余年,他以国家公共安全重大需求为导向,在死因鉴定、疑难检材DNA检验、国产试剂研发、数据库建设及溺死诊断等工程技术领域取得重大突破,以第一完成人获国家科技进步二等奖3项,荣立个人一等功两次,主要成果达到国际先进水平。他牵头创建了法医病理学重点实验室、广东省法医遗传学重点实验室、广东省精神活性物质监测与安全重点实验室、全国地方公安机关首家博士后科研工作站。主编研究生教材《高级法医学》《法医病理学应用创新》《溺死法医诊断学》等专著7部,获授权发明专利16件,制定国家、行业标准10项,培养博士后、博士、硕士40余名;勘验检验重大疑难案件6000多宗,无一差错。先后入选广东省百名南粤杰出人才工程、国家百千万人才工程,荣获“全国优秀科技工作者”、“全国五一劳动奖章”、“全国公安系统二级英雄模范”、“全国先进工作者”、“国家有突出贡献的青年专家”、“国务院政府特殊津贴获得者”等。


Brief Introduction of Professor Liu Chao:


Professor Liu Chao, an illustrious Chief Forensic Physician and esteemed Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, boasts an impressive array of leadership roles. He has presided over the Guangzhou Criminal Science and Technology Research Institute with acumen, commanded the Guangzhou Public Security Bureau's Criminal Police Detachment with distinction, and directed the Guangdong Drug Experiment Technology Center, also known as the Guangdong Branch of the National Drug Laboratory.


Pioneering in his field, Academician Liu Chao is recognized as a principal architect of forensic genetics in China, a driving force behind the establishment of DNA databases, and a trailblazer in the development of indigenous DNA reagents. His tenure spans over three decades of groundbreaking forensic research and identification. His contributions have been pivotal in advancing the determination of causes of death, the DNA analysis of complex samples, the innovation of domestic reagents, the construction of databases, and the diagnosis of drowning incidents. His stellar career is adorned with three second prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and two first-class personal merits, placing his achievements at the forefront of global standards.


Under his visionary leadership, several key laboratories have been established, including the Forensic Pathology Key Laboratory under the Ministry of Public Security, the Forensic Genetics Key Laboratory of Guangdong Province, and the Psychoactive Substance Monitoring and Safety Key Laboratory of Guangdong Province. He also spearheaded the first post-doctoral research workstation within a local public security organ in China. Professor Liu's academic prowess is evident in his authorship of seven graduate textbooks, such as "Advanced Forensic Medicine," "Innovative Applications in Forensic Pathology," and "Forensic Diagnosis of Drowning," and he holds an impressive 16 invention patents. His influence extends to the formulation of 10 national and industry standards and the mentorship of over 40 post-doctoral, doctoral, and master's students.


His unwavering dedication is reflected in the impeccable examination of more than 6,000 intricate cases. His exceptional talents have earned him a place in the Guangdong Province's Hundred Outstanding Talents Project and the prestigious National Thousand-Talent Program. A luminary in his domain, Professor Liu has garnered accolades such as "Outstanding Science and Technology Worker of the Nation," "National May 1st Labor Medal," "National Public Security System Second-Class Heroic Model," "National Advanced Worker," "National Outstanding Young Expert," and the esteemed "Recipient of the Special Government Allowance from the State Council." These honors are a testament to his enduring commitment and outstanding service to the field of forensic science and the nation.
