2024年12月10日，受哈尔滨冰雪大世界项目组之邀，黑龙江外国语学院经济管理系的加拿大籍教师Lucy Qi前往黑龙江工商学院，举办了一场主题为“助力地方经济，迎亚冬会，冰雪大世界志愿者英语培训”的讲座。此次活动旨在通过提升志愿者的英语交流能力，为第26届哈尔滨冰雪大世界开园做好充分准备，同时进一步促进地方经济的发展与国际文化交流。
On December 10, 2024, at the invitation of the Harbin Ice and Snow World project team, Lucy Qi, a Canadian teacher from the Department of Economics and Management at Heilongjiang International University, went to Heilongjiang Commerce Institute to give a training themed “Supporting Local Economy, Welcoming the Asian Winter Games: English Training for Ice and Snow World Volunteers.” This event aimed to enhance volunteers' English communication skills in preparation for the grand opening of the 26th Harbin Ice and Snow World while further promoting local economic development and international cultural exchange.

Lucy老师强调了冰雪大世界作为哈尔滨乃至中国冰雪旅游重要名片的独特价值和对推动地方经济的深远影响。她提到，冰雪大世界不仅吸引了国内外游客，也极大推动了住宿、餐饮、交通等相关产业的繁荣，为哈尔滨经济注入了澎湃动力。因此，提升志愿者的服务水平和英语交流能力，不仅能为冰雪大世界活动成功举办提供支持，还将为展示哈尔滨的独特魅力和推动冰雪旅游服务升级注入新的动力。
Lucy emphasized the unique value of the Ice and Snow World as an important symbol of Harbin and even China’s ice tourism, as well as its profound impact on promoting the local economy. She mentioned that the Ice and Snow World not only attracts numerous domestic and international tourists but also significantly boosts the prosperity of related industries such as accommodation, dining, and transportation, injecting vibrant energy into Harbin's economy. Therefore, enhancing volunteers' service levels and English communication skills will not only support the successful hosting of the Ice and Snow World activities but also inject new momentum into showcasing Harbin's unique charm and upgrading its ice tourism services.

Lucy老师结合自身丰富的国际交流经验，通过生动的案例剖析与情景模拟，帮助志愿者掌握实用的英语表达技巧。她强调，简明易懂的语言配合真挚生动的情感表达，是突破语言障碍、建立有效沟通的关键。在培训过程中，志愿者们热情高涨，踊跃参与互动。从最初的紧张到逐渐能够自信地用英语表达自己，此次培训不仅帮助他们克服了语言障碍，还进一步提升了服务意识，让他们对即将到来的志愿者工作充满期待。
Combining her rich international communication experience, Lucy used vivid case analyses and situational simulations to help volunteers master practical English expression skills. She emphasized that clear and straightforward language, combined with sincere and lively emotional expression, is the key to break language barriers and establish effective communication. During the training, volunteers were enthusiastic and actively participated in interactions. From initial nervousness to gradually being able to express themselves confidently in English, this training not only helped them overcome language barriers but also further enhanced their service awareness, making them look forward to their upcoming volunteer work.

志愿者们表示，将以热情、专业、高水准的服务全力以赴，为冰雪大世界的开园增添绚丽色彩。同时，他们也希望借助即将在哈尔滨举办的亚冬会，凭借专业服务和热情接待，让国际游客充分感受到哈尔滨人民的热情与包容，为城市的国际化形象增添新的魅力。
The volunteers expressed their commitment to provide enthusiastic, professional, and high-quality services to add vibrant colors to the grand opening of the Ice and Snow World. At the same time, they also hope to leverage the upcoming Asian Winter Games held in Harbin to offer professional services and warm hospitality, allowing international visitors to fully experience the warmth and inclusiveness of Harbin’s people and enhancing the city’s international image.

此次活动的成功举办，不仅彰显了黑龙江外国语学院经济管理系在服务地方经济与国际文化交流中的重要作用，也为地方企业与国际合作注入了新动能。未来，经济管理系将持续与地方企业合作，培养更多优秀的国际化服务型人才，为推动哈尔滨经济的可持续发展贡献力量。
The successful hosting of this event not only highlights the important role of the Department of Economics and Management at Heilongjiang International University in serving local economic development and international cultural exchange but also injects new momentum into cooperation between local enterprises and international partners.
