Jing An Shangri-La's restaurants are rolling out the red carpet for foodies this winter, starting with these pop-up experiences: the glitzy Christmas Miracle Bar and cosy Winter Chalet.

Decked out in gold, pink, and purple, The 1515 West Bar has transformed into the Christmas Miracle Bar this season. 

Sip on crafted cocktails like the Winter Wonderland or Santa's Giggle Water and snack on holiday nibbles like warm mince pies and Bockwurst hot dogs. 

Feeling extra fancy? Indulge in a festive afternoon tea with sweet and savoury bites at one of three venues in the hotel (more information below).

Also going through a festive transformation, Calypso Restaurant & Lounge now houses an Alpine-inspired Winter Chalet — think starlit ornaments, faux-fur cushions, and après-ski vibes. 

Baby it's cold outside — so get toasty with spiked seasonal sips, like the Feuerzangenbowle — a traditional German alcoholic drink whereby a rum-soaked sweet is lit aflame so it drips into a mug of mulled wine — or the charming Christmas Tree cocktail served in a bottle with a cute beanie hat.

Our favourite among the Winter Chalet's festive offerings, however, is the Fondue Bourguignonne — it's a fun excuse to gather around a hot pot while catching up with friends and family.

Take your pick of not one or two, but three afternoon tea venues — 1515 West Bar, Calypso Restaurant & Lounge, and the Lobby Lounge — at Jing An Shangri-La, Shanghai.

The hotel has also curated special festive menus to save you the trouble of making a mess in the kitchen at home. After all, this season should be about relaxation and rejuvenation.

Seeing as it's the season for gifts and generosity, Jing An Shangri-La, Shanghai has curated four luxurious hampers stuffed with festive goodies. Inside, you will find Stollen, Panettone, homemade jams, chocolates, wine and more. 

The hotel is also selling individual retail goods, from advent calendars to boxes of bonbons, as well as jars of cookies, fudge and gingerbread, starting at just RMB 38.
